Achille Castiglioni - Gavina - Chair (6) - Lierna
Group of 6 “Lierna” model chairs designed by Achille Castiglioni for Cassina in 1959, produced by gavina after 1969. The Lierna chair, whose name is in homage to the town on Lake Como, has a lacquered solid wood structure and upholstered seat upholstered in leather or fabric and is one of the historic pieces of Italian design. Even if made of solid wood, the chair is very light. The proposed examples, produced by Gavina, in cream-colored leather and matt black lacquered structure, are in excellent condition as can be seen from the attached photos, slight signs of aging on the leather and on the structure.
