Condition Report:
Overall in very good condition. The oak surfaces throughout appear to retain their original finish, displaying an exceptional wood selection with warm color and strong figuring. The oak surfaces present with scattered surface scratches, minor abrasions and light wear, particularly concentrated to the edges and legs as consistent with age and gentle use. All of the inlay decoration on the seatback is intact and appears original and undisturbed. The chair is offered together with a later fabric cushion with light wear, occasional discolorations and surface soiling consistent with gentle use. A refined work by Ellis with beautiful inlays.
