Having a boarded hinged lid, the front with four square panels, each carved with stylized hooked motifs, above a long drawer, again with four similar shaped and carved reserves, the top rail with S-scroll carving, flanked by the carved initials ‘I W’ over ’16 71’, on extended stile supports, twin panelled sides with chain-carved rails, unusual boarded back, 113cm wide, 75cm high. 54cm deep.Show more

Good colour and finish. Central brace to the underside off the lid probably later, but present for some time. General minor losses and wear in accordance with age and use.
