A fantastic pair of engraved Irish silver paw-footed salt cellars executed in repousse with floral accents and lion masks, each bearing a chased crest and fitted with cobalt glass liners. Each cellar bears a city stamp of Dublin and a maker's mark of Bartholomew Mosse. The total approximate weight is 8.03 troy oz (gross), excluding the glass liners. From a W 80th St, Manhattan estate. Dimensions: salt cellars measure approx. 2.25" in diameter.
Condition Report: Good, with light surface scratches and minor dings/dents. Each cellar bears a subsequently added engraving verso. Cobalt glass inserts are replacements and do not match. Please examine the provided photos to thoroughly evaluate each piece.
