GREEK APULIAN XENON WARE OINOCHOE

A classic oinochoe with an elegant, black-glazed body finished with a trefoil spout and a strap handle connecting the mouth with the shoulder. The exterior surface is decorated with a red, painted central register of laurel leaves and a decorative band of radiating tongues above. Cf.
