Collection of Sir Michael William and Lady Wendy Turner, Hong Kong and London
By descent to the current Private Collection, Vancouver
The tall vase with flaring rim and decorated in three registers, the bottom with the poet Li Bai together with a farmer and attendants, the middle section with a mythical qilin and magic carp, the top with a lord and his wife flanked by numerous servants. Double ring mark to base.
