Oil on the table cm. 33 x 43 in frame 59 x 69. Signed Delleani lower right. The artist trained at the Accademia Albertina in Turin, as a pupil of Cesare Gamba and Carlo Arienti. Initially he joined the romantic current by painting historical subjects. In 1874 and 1878 he exhibited at the official Salon in Paris. At the end of the 19th century he changed his style and his thematic repertoire preferring an en plein air painting. He participated in the Venice Biennale in 1905 and in the Monaco International Art Exhibition. These two events sanctioned the artist's international success. He died in Turin in 1908.
