Louis XVI Ormolu Mounted Mahogany and Mahogany Veneer Bureau Plat,

Large rectangular top with three-quarter-round corners above conforming leg posts continuing to tapered fluted columns raised on brass ball feet, the apron containing three locking drawers with bead-molded ormolu handles, the opposite apron rail paneled with faux drawer fronts, the top inset with tooled red Morocco, as are the sliding panels installed in each end of the apron, the edge of proper right panel twice impressed "E. AVRIL", 137cm wide, 73cm deep, 73cm high (54 1/2in wide, 29 1/4in deep, 29 1/4in high).
