A FRENCH TERRACOTTA BUST OF A YOUNG WOMAN 18TH CENTURY Set on marble socle base, signed indistinctly RU* and dated 1789 39cm high overall, base 10.5cm diameter Provenance: Private Collection, Oxfordshire Condition Report: some- wear, marks, knocks and scratches as per age, handling, use, and cleaning. Under UV a blemish visible to front of neck- and small crack visible suggesting retouching. With some loss to painted surface- notably to extremities and to sides of nose.
