A SWEDISH PAINTED CORNER CABINET LATE 18TH/EARLY 19TH CENTURY With original painted surface simulating blue veined marble 214cm high, 117cm wide, 73cm deep overall Condition Report: Cabinet with the marks, knocks, scratches and abrasion commensurate with age and use. Old chips and splits. The painted surface with the expected scratches, chips and losses. Some evidence of old worm - see images for details. Later blocks to the back securing the upper section to the base. Rear block foot is a later replacement.Some old repairs - see images. Key present and operates both locks. Escutcheons are possibly old replacements. Small section of inset replacement timber to the inside of the upper section. Please refer to additional images for visual reference to condition.
