French Louis XVI Style Marble Top Walnut Butler's Commode, 19th c., the inset spinach marble top within moulded surround, fall front false drawer reveals fitted interior, over two lower drawers, flanked by reeded stiles, atop a moulded base, on fluted tapered legs, H.- 36 1/2 in., W.- 47 in., D.- 21 3/4 in.
Condition Report: Structurally sound. Tape residue to top with scattered chips, and abrasions from use. Loose trim on both sides of top, one with a three inch loss to rear proper left. Trim lacking on drawer front of lowest drawer. Minor nicks, chips, abrasions, and imperfections consistent with age and use.
