SPANISH LLADRO PORCELAIN FIGURES, LOT OF TWO, comprising a Shakespeare limited edition #769 of 1200, featuring the distinguished bard sitting in a chair with an open book on left leg, signed "S. Furio / J. Ruiz" to underside, and a Columbus limited edition #592 of 1200, depicting the explorer standing on an ovoid base with a globe on a stand at his right side, signed "S. Furio / N. Navarro" to underside. Additional marks to underside include blue-stamped bellflower with "LLADRO (R) / HAND MADE IN SPAIN / (C) DAISA" below and impressed "M-18". Each together with a signed certificate of authenticity and a wooden stand with velveteen top. Six pieces total. Circa 1980. 16 1/4" HOA.

Condition Report: Columbus mostly undamaged except compass detached but present, having two rough spots under robe, probably as made; Shakespeare in excellent visual condition, having professional restoration to one leg and quill pen detached but present.
