An early 19th century mahogany eight-day longcase clock by George Suggate of Halesworth with rocking ship automata - the bell-strike, four-pillar movement fronted by a painted arched Arabic dial with arched date aperture, subsidiary seconds, gilt and painted floral spandrels and rocking ship automata to the arch, the good quality case with arched hood with outset brass stop-fluted columns (one missing), over an arched trunk door with stop-fluted canted corners, on a panelled base, 206 cm high, lacks pendulum and weights.
