A Chinese archaic bronze vessel, hu, Han dynasty, the compressed body raised on a splayed foot rising up to a trumpet neck, decorated to the shoulders with a ribbed design, the neck flanked by a pair of loop handles with chain attached, the top of the handle cast with archaistic designs, 29cm high.
Provenance: Acquired in Bangkok 1958/59 by the Grandfather of the present owner.
