A GEORGE II WALNUT WING ARMCHAIR CIRCA 1740 115cm high, 86cm wide, 80cm deep Condition Report: Upholstery later applied, Dreweatts can make no comments or guarantees as to the originality of the frame beneath the later upholstery, the underside of the chair is uncovered and the rails visible, these have chips and losses, signs of old worm and tack holes, the corner stretchers appear to be later Overall frame appears solid and stable, some old marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions, chips and losses to legs, previously had castors - there are holes to the underside where they would have sat, now with some castor caps in stead.
