A Meissen porcelain figure of an African woman with a basket
Depicted standing on a white earth mound base proferring an apple. The oval basket painted with Watteau scenes in puce camaieu. Unglazed base with faint blue crossed swords mark. Restorations to both arms, some flowers and the handle of the basket, chips to the foliage, one thumb missing. H 16.7 cm.
