Two late 18th/early 19th century Staffordshire pearlware busts first of the poet and diplomat Matthew Prior, c.1790, Enoch Wood type, wearing a turban and with draped robes on a faux marble socle base, impressed Prior twice, second of the philosopher John Locke modelled wearing a red cloak draped on his shoulders, on a socle base with faux marble decoration, (2)first height 19.2 cm., second height 23.5cm.
