Archive of Billie Holiday letters(30) hand-written letters dating from 1939 to 1941, likely written by Billie Holiday's mother, Sarah Julia "Sadie" Fagan, with envelopes, each addressed to Marilyn Moore, a fellow jazz singer, most on 10"h x 8"w lined paper, a few smaller notes, variously signed "Billie" or B. Notes/Literature: Marilyn Moore recorded one LP entitled "Moody Marilyn Moore" with a small jazz ensemble in 1957, but does not seem to have made others.
