Reign Of Wilhelm II (1888-1918)
The first with nickel-plated fullered blade stamped with manufacturer's marks on one side at the forte, gilt-brass hilt cast and chased with foliage and crowned Prussian eagle within the pierced folding guard, pommel engraved with owner's monogram, and with crowned imperial eagle against a martial trophy, and wire-bound simulated fishskin grip with crowned cypher on one side, in original blued steel scabbard (surface rust overall) with ring for suspension; the second of similar but plainer form, in its steel scabbard painted black and with ring for suspension; together with blued steel scabbard (some surface rust) stamped 'TOLEDO' at the throat, and with ring for suspension (3)
