EVA BRAUN ENGRAVED SILVER SCHNAPPS CUP
Description:
A great relic, an engraved sterling silver schnapps cup once owned and used by EVA BRAUN (1912-1945), an office assistant and model who became the longtime companion of Adolf Hitler and, for less than 40 hours, his wife. The sturdy cup stands 3 in. tall and is 2.5 in. wide at its flared top. One side bears a meticulously-engraved set of her initials "E B", presented in the well-known "butterfly" monogram designed for Braun by her close friend, Albert Speer. The cup is hallmarked on the bottom and marked "835" for purity. Some tarnishing, else fine. Likely from a set of such cups gifted to Braun. From a thirty-year collection of "personality" material, this grouping was a direct soldier ""bring back"".
