A 2001 classic 320 SL Mercedes R129 convertible in very good condition. It certainly appears to have had a small fortune spent on the car due to its condition. The colour is Mercedes brilliant silver, it’s a face lift model with the colour-coded larger side moulding with vents, flat style spoke style alloy wheels, brighter headlamps and side flashers etc, better styling interior seats, and burr walnut dashboard accents.
The vendor tells us that this is a wonderful car to drive with a smooth gearbox and plenty of power. The vehicle has covered some 120,000 miles in its 21 years, so this vehicle has only covered approx. 5,700 miles a year, and the mileage history is researched back until 2006. In its life it has had 4 cherished number changes, and one of the owners for 11 years.
Another big plus is that it has just passed its MOT with flying colours and has been serviced at the same time.
The extras on this car are metallic paint, heated front seats, electric memory front seats, leather rear seats, electric steering column, automatic climate air-conditioning, and upgraded modern stereo system.
The alloy wheels have been refurbished and are unmarked, the tyres are good, paint work is very good, the bumpers are very clean, virtually zero stone chips, door shuts are very nice, and the kick plates etc are all very good.
