Later-generation Mercedes-Benz SLs truly deserve the 'modern classic' moniker and in today's market offer excellent value for money, offering looks and performance with the reassurance of good spares support and specialists. This 2003 SL350 in wallet-friendly 350 guise ticks the boxes in terms of condition bodily, internally and mechanically, but our vendor notes that the service history, bar that for recent work, is missing. The bodywork, silver metallic paint and trim are said to be in excellent order while the alloy wheels have been re-furbished and fitted with new tyres. The interior too is in very good condition and with lighter evenings and warmer temperatures not too far away the panoramic roof is working perfectly. The engine, which is running well, has recently been serviced and new discs, pads and suspension bushes have been fitted, as have new batteries. With an MoT test that expires in April, this 350SL is sensibly guided and potentially offers great value for money.
