The sugar box depicting the boy’s festival, celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month. The boys are wearing ornate clothes and playing various instruments. The entire box is worked in gold and silver wire, and the top and bottom sections show bands of floral and geometrical motifs. The lid with a fine gilt chrysanthemum knob.
