A QUEEN ANNE CARVED GILTWOOD AND GESSO WALL MIRRORCIRCA 1710Surmounted by a large Baroque shell, above a bevelled arched central plate and marginal plates105cm high, 57cm wideCondition Report: Mirror with marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Old splits and chips. Frame with old re-gilding. Gilt surface with various chips, cracks and some losses. Some areas of rubbing/loss to gilt, particularly to the elements around the peripheral plates. Old glued repairs to creating - see images for details. Bevelled mirror plates are later replacements.
