Each with rectangular padded back, padded arms with bowed upholstered seat, the crest-rails sharply and finely carved with central berried acanthus, the frames carved with beading, guilloche, coin-pattern, acanthus and leaf-tips, on circular tapering stop-fluted legs headed by paterae and leaf-tips, upholstered in 18th century Beauvais tapestry depicting flower-filled baskets and musical and garden trophies suspended from festooned draperies on a beige ground, each stamped ‘G. IACOB’, one inscribed in pencil ?’AB’, one inscribed in pencil ‘4’ (three times), ‘GS’, and ‘FL’, one stenciled ‘29’ and inscribed in pencil ‘GS’ and ‘5’, en suite with lots 120 and 121
38 ½ in. (98 cm.) high, 26 in. (66 cm.) wide, 22 in. (56 cm.) deep
