A two-case black-lacquer inro depicting a Punch and Judy show, the puppets inlaid in silver, with a malachite crocodile and silver falling man inlaid below on the booth, signed JC 1999; the ojime boxwood in the form of Toby the Dog, signed JC; the unusual netsuke of copal resin infused with insects, with a silver band to form the himotoshi, the band signed JC, with a black-lacquered case with a silver clasp in the shape of an ammonite, signed JC; with the artist's reference card for the inro. The inro: 12.1cm (4¾in) high; the netsuke: 9.5cm (3¾in). (2).
