A late Victorian diamond, split pearl and enamel memorial brooch, an early 20th century 15ct gold ruby and diamond brooch, together with an early 20th century opal brooch.One with hallmarks for Chester, 1911. Lengths 3.1 to 4cms. Total weight 14.7gms.
Condition Report: A - ruby and diamond brooch and opal brooch
No obvious faults other than wear in keeping with age and use.
Face up diamonds SI2-P1 clarity.
Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation.
Opals well matched, in good condition.
Ruby in good condition.
B - diamond, split pearl and enamel memorial brooch
Minor faults. There may be abrasion and/or small nicks to gemstones. General moderate wear from use possibly including but not necessarily limited to small dents and deep scratches. The piece may have been altered from its original design but to a reasonable standard.
Diamonds bright.
Face up diamonds SI2-P1.

Split pearls well matched, in good condition. Enamel with minor abrasions.
Brooch pin loose at hinge, may require attention.
Weight 4gms.
