Alfa Romeo - Spider ‘Duetto’ 1600 from 1983, final series of the truncated tail also called ‘unified’. Pastel balck colour with beige interior. The 1600 in 1980 was unified for bodywork and interior to the 2000. In this edition were presented new interior details, this edition remained into production until 1982. This unit remained unsold and registered in 1983, it only had one owner until 2017 when it was purchased and restored in the bodywork. The car was neat even before the restoration, but paint started becoming dull in places, therefore it was fully repainted. Chrome parts were replaced and those that could be recovered received a refurbishment. Soft top was mounted new by a professional in the industry and it is in very good condition. Tyres were replaced, as well as several rubber parts outside the car, since they were worn out due to age. Engine has no leaks, a major service was performed, oils change, service belts, filter replacement, compression measured, carburettor cleaning, petrol tank checked and the whole set of pads and front arms, front and rear brakes checked, shock absorbers renewed and pads checked, spark plugs replaced. Car is in perfect working order and also transmission is in very good condition. Interior is preserved, with no tears nor unstitched parts, they look good, in beige colour, it’s a rare combination for this model. Working radio. Car is sold with hardtop covered with vinyl, giving a wonderful look during winter as well, rare and expensive accessory. No rust spots, not even in the bottom or underbody, paint in very good condition with no scratches nor dents. Approved ASI (Automotoclub Storico Italiano) , it is sold with original service book and ASI service. Odometer reading 69,916 km, which are presumably real. Frame number AR 11535 0004527 Engine number 526/A S420Y corresponding to the model. Black number plate shown in photos is for display purposes only, its original one is made of white aluminium with province code and black digits, new number plate for plate loss.
