With curved brightly burnished fullered blade double-edged towards the point and with a narrow fuller along the back on each side, hilt cast and chased with gadrooning and comprising downbent shell-guard, lobed rear quillon, knuckle-guard, and chased pommel-cap with button, and rounded mottled cowhorn grips, in original brown leather-covered scabbard tooled with line ornament, silver locket pricked with retailer's details on one side, chape chased with a shell design on both sides, belt hook en suite with the hilt, and in fine condition
