An early 17th century German parcel gilt silver ‘snakeskin’ beaker, Augsburg circa 1615 by Balthasar Grill (1568-1617, master 1615) Od tapering cylindrical form, with incised and moulded rim. The body with ring punched texture, gilt bands to the base and rim. Marked underneath with makers mark, a stork, (Rosenberg 442), town mark and assay scrape. Height – 9.5 cm / 3.75 inches Weight – 134 grams / 4.31 ozt
