Cabinet - Bronze, Rosewood, Wood - Second half 19th century
Cartonnier cabinet in rosewood, herringbone wood, with maple and ebony filleting. Built in the third quarter of the 19th century (between 1850 and 1875) , in the period known as ‘Napoleon III’, it has two doors at the top, a central drawer and a door below. The upper top is in pink veined marble and gilt bronze friezes enrich the cabinet front and the front feet. Includes a key, and both locks are working. The cabinet has never been restored and is in very good overall condition, considering its age. It has some small scratches and a grain on the top, under the marble (which doesn’t reach the cabinet inside) . Complete with working lock and key. The item comes with certificate of authenticity. Dating: 19th century - Napoleon III style. Dimensions: height 135 cm - width 63 cm - depth 38 cm. This item cannot be shipped outside Europe.
