A bifacial blue glazed composition figural pendant of the god Bes, squatting and wearing a tall feather crown; pierced laterally through the crown; mounted on a custom-made stand. 7.6 grams total, 57mm including stand (2 1/4"). From the private collection of jewellery designer Natalia Josca (1933-2007), New York, USA; her collection formed personally from 1972-early 1980s, much of which was later made into designer jewellery.
