Egypt, Late Dynastic Period, 26th to 31st Dynasty, ca. 664 to 332 BCE. A mold-formed faience ushabti covered in blue-green glaze. The mummiform figure stands in mummiform, holds two implements in crossed hands, and has an illegible column of hieroglyphic symbols inscribed in front of the legs. The puffy face has a false beard and a tripartite wig with lengthy lappets. Size: 0.75" W x 2.9" H (1.9 cm x 7.4 cm)
