• Movement: nickel, lever escapement, bi-metallic compensation balance, barrel bridge and backplate signed Girard Perregaux and stamped Alfred Courvoisier Jonais, calendar work on a separate plate hinged into the case and operated via motion work driven from the centre wheel, the calendar work advanced via a cam with protruding lever acting on a further lever through an aperture to the decoratively engraved backplate of the calendar dial, the dial's backplate signed and numbered Girard-Perregaux Chaux-de-Fonds no.79923
• Dials: white enamel, Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring, sunken subsidiary seconds, blued steel spade hands, signed Girard- Perregaux, Chaux-de-Fonds • second - white enamel, outer date ring with central indicator hand, two subsidiary dials for day and month in Spanish, aperture for moon phases, signed Girard-Perregaux
• Case: 18ct pink gold, engine-turned covers, vacant cartouche, both covers signed and numbered Girard-Perregaux, 79923, case maker's mark JF N beneath a crown

Condition Report:
Movement: will just run for short periods at time of cataloguing. Hands are setting smoothly. Calendar is changing at midnight. All calendar adjusters operational at time of cataloguing, the date adjuster will move the months forward on the 1st of each new month (but is not annual calendar so will not take into account month length)

Dials: time dial appears to be in good overall condition. Calendar dial with small hairline crack between moon phases dial and day dial, there seem to be a residue to the surface of the day dial and to the main dial outside this.

Case: some rubbing to engine turning of front cover, the cartouche to the front has been polished. Some rubbing to engine turning at edge of case back.
