HIGH CONDITION H&R ..44 SMOOTH BORE SINGLE SHOT
Serial #1297. Barrel length 26". Bore .44 smooth. Patent 1901. This is a rarely seen firearm and when one does pop up for sale, it is usually beat to death. Features include a blue round barrel with bead front sight, case color frame with patent dates, plain walnut round knob stock and fore-end with gutta percha monogram butt plate. Barrel retains 99% original blue with light muzzle wear. Frame retains 70% case color with some bright. Wood is excellent with few minor impressions and one putty repair top of wrist that is very minor. Minty bore. Best one we have ever seen. C&R
