Jaguar - E-Type 4.2 Series 2 Coupe - NO RESERVE - 1969

[ translate ]

Don’t let this opportunity pass you by and become the new owner of this beautiful and iconic Jaguar classic! This is an auction WITHOUT RESERVE PRICE.

. The Jaguar E-type and Jaguar XK-E were built between 1961 and 1974 for 3 generations. The E-type meant a revolution in the design, performance and handling of sports cars. The Jaguar E-type holds first place on the list of the top sports cars of the 1960s.

. The Series II was manufactured from 1969 to 1971 and has headlights without glass covers (the lights of the series 1 had problems with steam) , a rear bumper folded around the back, shifted and larger indicators, rear lights placed below the rear bumper, enhanced cooling with a larger radiator grille and upgraded brakes. The interior was also redesigned. They were also fitted with new control levers, more comfortable seats and optional air conditioning and power steering.

. This Jaguar is in relatively neat, unrestored condition. The car sometimes starts with difficulty when the engine is cold but it does shift smoothly and powerfully through all the gears. The car brakes properly.

. The interior is original but outdated (the leather was repaired on the passenger seat and rear bench, see photos, it’s visible) . It has relatively good ‘Regency Red’ paint but this too has signs of age (scratches and touched-up in places) .

. What makes this car unique is that it is still in original condition with the original engine.

. These Jaguar E-types are starting to rise in value, especially a Jaguar E-type from the first or second series are increasingly difficult to find. So don't wait too long and grab this opportunity to be the owner of this wonderful classic.
