LOT OF 3: THIRD REICH SA, HEER, AND LUFTWAFFE DAGGERS.
Lot contains: (A) SA Dagger with hanger, (B) Luftwaffe Dagger, and (C) Heer Dagger. (A) SA dagger with a "RZM M7/32" marked blade with light runner marks and excellent cross-graining. Nickel plated zinc fittings retain approximately 95+% of their original finish, with very light scatter marks. Rosewood grip is very nice and both emblems are intact. Scabbard retains 95+% of its original brown painted finish, with scattered marks. Scabbard fittings also retain 95+% of their finish with light marks. Correct hanger is attached, with a "RZM M5c/93" marking on the hook, and a "RZM L2/5/39" marking on the leather. CONDITION: Blade, fittings, and scabbard are near mint. Overall near mint condition. (B) Luftwaffe dagger with a "SMF Solingen" marked blade with very light runner and scattered marks. Nickel plated fittings retain approximately 95% of their original finish, with uniform patina present. Wire-wrapped trylon grip has a 1/4" chip missing and minor staining near the cross-guard. Scabbard retains 70-75% of its original finish, with patina, a 3/4" dent, and other minor dents near the tip. A high quality hanger assembly is attached. CONDITION: Blade and fittings are near mint, grip is excellent, and scabbard is very good to excellent. Overall excellent condition. (C) Heer dagger with a "Eickhorn" marked blade with runner and scattered marks, light freckling and staining to approximately 50% of the blade. Nickel plated fittings retain approximately 90% of their original finish with patina, and the trylon grip is intact. The top of the pommel has numerous small dings. Scabbard retains 65-70% of its original finish with scattered areas of freckling and staining to approximately 35% of its surface. There are numerous small dings and dents to the scabbard edges below the lower mounting ring. A very nice high quality hanger assembly is attached. CONDITION: Overall very good to excellent.
