Beautiful fragment of Flemish tapestry, Teniers model, early 18th century, in wool and silk, measuring 251 x 197 cm, entitled ‘La vieillesse’ (Old Age) , as can be read on the tapestry. The tapestry represents a beautiful scene of wool spinning in a courtyard in front of a house, two elderly women participate in the work with an old man and a boy accompanied by two hunting dogs. Natural landscape and house in the background. With a floral border, rich in leaves that run all around the tapestry, alternating ribbons and flowers. State of preservation: the tapestry has some restorations in the silk and the contours of the figures, the border has been pressed. It has just been cleaned and is ready to be hung.
