Manuel Humbert i Esteve (Barcelona, 1890 – 1975) was a Spanish painter and draughtsman. He studied at the Escuela de la Llotja and with Francesc D’Assís Galí. He became known as a draughtsman in the satirical weekly Papitu, under the pseudonym Isaac and he collaborated with the magazine Picarol. In 1915 he held his first exhibition at Galeries Laietanes. Between 1909 and 1939 he lived between Barcelona and Paris, where he made friends with Picasso, Modigliani, Chaïm Soutine y Moïse Kisling. A founding member of the group Les Arts i els Artistes, in 1929 he collaborated in the decoration of the National Palace of Montjuïc (actual MNAC) .
