Mercedes-Benz 170 S benefitting from 27 years of one-owner care. The high-quality restoration was carried out by Mercedes Benz between 1985 and 1987 with many invoices for the work included in the history file. This is one of just 830 open-topped 170 S cars built during a four-year period, the body is finished in a striking red colour and has outstanding paint quality. A black canvas soft top complements the coachwork. Interior fully restored, upholstery, wood trim and brightwork all finished to a high standard. . The upper section of the dashboard and door waist trails are finished in maple veneer, as the radio surrounding in the centre of the dashboard. This fine example is Dutch registered. It benefits from extensive maintenance within the past year and runs perfectly. Known defects: Radio. Clutch is at its end of life. Fuel gage does not indicate fuel level perfectly.
