Mercedes-Benz - 450 SL R107 - 1979

[ translate ]

This Mercedes SL450 from 1979 is in an excellent condition. Originally delivered in Fresno, California. Imported to the Netherlands in 2007 and immediately sold to a Luxembourger who put his heart and soul into the restoration for 10 years, but never actually drove the car. We bought the car after the restoration from this gentleman in 2017. Last year we replaced the soft top, replaced the petrol pump, installed 4 new tyres, and changed the transmission oil. We have also equipped the car with European bumpers, which in our opinion belong to an elegant car like this one. The paintwork is in a mint condition and the paint job is of a very high quality. The car was purchased by us with Mercedes 8-hole rims, but we have equipped the car with original Mercedes delivered rims that belong to this Type SL. The car is in a very good condition, both optically and technically, as you might expect from a good restoration. The automatic gearbox shifts flawlessly and the car brakes and drives as can be expected from this quality car. Of course, this car has all the onboard documents, and therefore also a filled out maintenance booklet. The car is in Guttecoven, the Netherlands
