Bronze okimono with a dark brown patina depicting a female farmer walking with a woven bamboo basket and sickle. Signed on the base 'Seiya zō' 誠谷造. Genryusai Seiya was the master craftsman specialised in high quality bronzes. His works included studies of animals in bronze as well as scenes from everyday life depicting human figures.
