Condition Report:
The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. All functions are working properly. The lumes on the numerals are not reacting under UV light. The hands are reacting under UV light and are replaced in a past service. The lumes have aged consistently. The dial with very minor signs of wear from the hands at the centre caused from the end of the hour hand, visible under a strong loupe. The bezel with signs of wear. The polished case with light surface wear and dings. The lugs with some dings, the lower right lug with a dent. The case back with surface wear throughout, some dents to 12 o'clock. Underneath the lugs with scuff marks, a ding at 1 o'clock. The 93150 bracelet with 580 endlinks in good condition with minor signs of wear.
Catalogue Note:
In 1977, Rolex made an interesting move by discontinuing the production of the "Double Red" Sea-Dweller and introducing a dial known to collector as the "Great White" with the same reference number. This watch had notable differences from its predecessor, such as the absence of the "Submariner 2000" text on the dial and an all white text design. The introduction of the "Great White" marked a significant milestone in Rolex's history as it signaled a clear separation between the Submariner and Sea-Dweller production lines.
