A restrung necklace composed of rounded dark glass pendant beads decorated with pale dots, D-section loop to the top, interspersed with polished fusiform carnelian beads, possibly later; modern clasp. See Whitehouse, D., Roman Glass in The Corning Museum, Volume Three, New York, 2003, item 967, for type. 105 grams, 58cm (23"). From an important North West London collection; acquired in the late 1980s-early 1990s.
