Sericho Meteorite Pallasite Kenya - (1°5'41.16"N, 39°6'8.30"E) Found: 2016 This complete individual specimen of Sericho Meteorite weighs a healthy 12.6 kilograms (28 pounds) and is considered a relatively new pallasite discovered in Kenya in 2016. The massive example has an appealing and artistic shape, with a complex and sharp texture over its entire exterior. Comprised of rare metals and Olivine crystals from Outer Space, this material has a natural "glow" over the meaty surface. Two brothers were literally searching for their camels, when they came across these stones, deciding they were meteorites due to the lack of rocks in the area even though the masses had been known to the local camel-herders for decades. Often referred to a Sericho Habaswein for the village near where the dense stones were found, this is a large and lively specimen from an exotic locality. Overall Measurements: 9.06 x 7.48 x 6.69 inches (23.00 x 19.00 x 17.00 cm), weighs 12.6 kilograms (27.77 pounds) [Scale: 1 inch, with mark at 1 cm]
