First edition. Large folio (50cm) of two works bound together. The first work by Pierre Le Pautre consists of an engraved title and 15 plates, 3 of which are double-paged, and the second work consists of 37 etched plates by Pierre-Louis Van Cleemputte from the survey collection *Grands Prix d'Architecture" published from 1787-1796. The first work was published by Gilles de Mortain circa 1716; the second work lacks the title page and includes one plate dated 1790. (52 plates total in the two works, plus the engraved title page). Contemporary quarter vellum with blue papers over boards. Some small stains, light creases towards the middle of the first work, very good.
