Condition Report:
Overall the condition of the relief is very good with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There are a few small chips, including to the nose and to the edge of the truncation at the arm. There are a few naturally occurring inclusions, including to the nose at the top and to the head. There are a few dirt marks to the truncation. The Campan marble ground is in very good condition with only a small chip to the reverse at the edge of the relief. There is some minor stable splitting to the later wood frame, consistent with the material. There are a few dirt marks and there is particular dirt in the crevices.
